PredictXI is an independent, data-driven football statistics service. We turn public historical match data into clear, honest probabilities for upcoming fixtures — win/draw/loss odds, expected goals and likely scorelines — and we publish how our model actually performs so you can judge it for yourself.

What we do

For each upcoming match we publish a calibrated forecast: the chance of a home win, draw or away win, the expected goals for each side, and the most probable exact scorelines. Where our model's probability differs from the bookmaker's implied odds, we highlight it as a value signal. Everything is an estimate produced by a statistical model — nothing more, nothing less.

How the model works

PredictXI is built on a Dixon-Coles Poisson model — a well-established statistical method in football analytics. It estimates each team's attacking and defensive strength from their recent results, weighted so that recent form counts for more than older matches, and blends this with market information to produce calibrated probabilities. We train and test it using only data that would have been available before each match kicked off (a walk-forward backtest), and we publish the results, including where the model trails the bookmaker. Our match data comes from football-data.co.uk.

What PredictXI is

PredictXI is an educational and analytical tool. We publish statistical models, probabilities and openly-graded results so you can understand football data better. That is the whole product.

What PredictXI is not

• We are not a bookmaker or betting operator, and we are not affiliated with any. PredictXI does not facilitate gambling — you cannot place a bet, stake or wager money here, and we neither accept nor process wagers.
• We do not sell "guaranteed", "fixed" or "sure" predictions. Football is uncertain; our outputs are probabilities, and they will often be wrong. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
• We do not offer financial, investment or betting advice. Any decision you make is your own.

Installing & removing the app

PredictXI is a website. If you like, you can also install it as an app (a Progressive Web App) so it opens from your home screen. This is entirely optional and handled by your browser — we never download or install anything without you choosing to, and there is no separate program, bundled extra, or system change involved.

• Install: when your browser offers it, tap Install in the prompt we show, or use your browser menu — Chrome/Edge: Install app / Add to Home screen; iPhone Safari: Share ▸ Add to Home Screen.
• Remove: it uninstalls like any app and leaves nothing behind — long-press the icon and choose Uninstall/Remove, or on desktop open the app menu (⋮) and choose Uninstall. You can also clear it from your browser's site settings.
• What it stores: only a small offline cache of public pages for speed, plus your sign-in session if you're logged in. It collects nothing extra beyond what the website itself does — see our privacy policy.
