Markets explained
From 1X2 and Over/Under to corners, cards, first-half and clean sheets — every market in plain English.
We price a wide set of markets off the same engine. The core ones are free; the fuller breakdown comes with a plan.
Match result (1X2)
The classic: home win (1), draw (X) or away win (2). This is what the probability bar shows.
Double chance & draw no bet
Double chance covers two of the three results — 1X, X2 or 12 — safer, lower reward. Draw no bet backs a team but your stake is returned if it's a draw.
Over / Under goals
Will total goals be above or below a line? We price the whole ladder — Over/Under 0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 — driven by the two teams' combined expected goals.
Both Teams To Score (BTTS)
Will both teams score at least once? High when both sides have attacking xG and leaky defences.
Teams: to score, clean sheet, win to nil
Will a given side score? Keep a clean sheet (concede zero)? Or win to nil (win without conceding)? All read from each team's goal distribution.
First half
How the first 45 minutes go: the half-time result and first-half Over/Under 0.5 and 1.5 goals. Modelled from the share of scoring that typically lands before the break, and graded against the half-time score.
Corners
Total corners Over/Under (8.5 / 9.5 / 10.5), from each team's attacking and defensive corner-rates versus the league average.
Cards
Total cards Over/Under (3.5 / 4.5 / 5.5). Cards are "spikier" than goals — the odd red or derby flurry — so we use a model that accounts for that extra variability rather than assuming goals-like smoothness.
Correct score
The exact final score — hard to hit, which is why we show the most likely few rather than a single call.
Accumulators
Combining several picks into one slip multiplies the odds — and the risk, since every leg must land. Our accumulator builder shows the combined model probability so you can see exactly how the risk stacks up. See accumulators & slips.
Every market is a model probability, graded in the open on the accuracy page — not a guaranteed tip.
